Make-up by make-up artist Dominic Skinner from London



While in school Dominic spent most of his time in the Art Department. Later he enrolled into Surrey Institute of Art and Design where he began experimenting with colour and make up. After realising he had found his passion he gained a HND in Specialist Make Up for Fashion/Editorial at London College of Fashion.

Dominic has worked on more than 10 seasons of Fashion Week London, Paris and Milan as a freelance make up artist. The shows include: Vivienne Westwood, Maison Martin Margiela, Nathan Jenden, and Alexander McQueen. He has worked with recording artists Robbie Williams, Santogold, The Hoosiers, The Klaxons, Little Boots, and The Wanted. Dominic has worked on Goks Fashion Fix, Louis Spences' Show business and is currently commencing his second season of Britain’s Next Top Model. Dominic’s career has taken him all over the UK and Europe, even as far as South Africa and China.

The photo studio is where Dominic feels most at home. His work has been published in ID, Love Magazine, Androgyny, and An Other Magazine amongst others.

In 2010 Dominic and his painting partner Carly Utting competed in the World Body Painting Championships in Austria. They were 1st in UK and 3rd in the world.

Dominic works part-time for MAC Cosmetics where he is a part of the Product Developing, Product Testing, Events, and Body Painting Teams.
