About Sandy

I am a creative hair and makeup artist with over thirty years experience.

Originally from Germany, I had a love for hair and makeup when growing up. Deciding to follow my passion, I studied hairdressing and makeup in Berlin and Munich and graduated with a Master Level in both.

I then worked for several top salons in Berlin whilst continuing to expand my knowledge and skills by training at the Vidal Sasson Academy and Pivot Point as well as becoming a certified Wella Master Colourist.

In 2000, I moved to London where I worked as a freelance hairdresser and makeup artist in Shoreditch building up a loyal clientele as well as doing commercial work for the film, music and fashion industries.

Having long harbored the desire to create my own hair and makeup studio, I opened Paintbox London in 2011 and love sharing my passion, knowledge and experience with my students as well as helping my clients look and feel their very best.
